Travel

I flew for the first time when I was 1 year old. My dad was in the Marines, so moving to a new duty station every 3-6 years was the norm. We had to make new friends every place we moved and we never had relatives living close by. Dad would be gone for duty for months at a time and we would go visit him in Virginia or Seoul, Korea. I lived in Hawaii, California, Texas and Japan.
Last year I was able to do an Around the World trip to Okinawa, Taiwan, Bali, Singapore, Thailand to London, Belgium, Netherlands, Czech Republic, Italy, Greece, Spain, France and New York. All on a tight budget.
I was able to learn about new cultures, try new foods, learn to speak new languages and make new friends.
I got the urge to move to a new place and Nevada is now my home. I appreciate the new surroundings and am excited to discover new places, activities and meeting new people.
I don't doubt I will want to move again someday, there have been multiple favorites and yet there's still so much land out there to discover.
